What is SEO (Search Engine Optimization)?

All major search engines such as Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo have primary search results, where web pages and other content are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to users. To appear on the top of the list, people pay for Google advertisements. To get there organically, you have to optimize your site in various ways that lets the search engine know that when a user types in something like “Affordable cars for sale” on Google, that your website is about “Affordable cars for sale” and should be displayed on the listing.

Why should you bother with SEO?

Customers most often do their research and compare different services and options before committing. Being on top of a search engine result listing tells a potential customer that you are well established in this space and that will undoubtedly impact the potential buyers decision in a positive way.


What is our approach to SEO?

Many businesses and website owners know (or think they know) that they need SEO work done for their website but never really get around to it. This may be for several reasons. An SEO audit sounds expensive, there may be worries that it might not work, and the website owner might not even be sure or knowledgable about the actual work that goes into getting a website to be search engine friendly. Thats okay.

Below is how we tackle the SEO process and how we can help you and your website get the traffic and exposure it needs.

1. Keyword Research/Competitor Analysis:

Having the right keywords(words or phrases on the website) is very important, as they are the link between your website and potential viewers. Initially, we take a look at different SEO data and see what keywords bring in the most visibility and traffic and which keywords are not already too saturated with content in the context of your website. We also take a look at competitor and similar website data and see what keywords they optimized their website for. The final goal and result is a list of keywords that would get you the maximum visibility on search engines and the highest ranking on a search result page. With this keyword list, we will be able to derive better ideas as to what wording/titles we should have on the website, what possible blog/article ideas we may want to create that caters to that keyword, and see what other related things people are searching for that we could better capitalize on and attract more website visits.

2. Website Optimizations & On Page SEO:

Once we have done the research and have the data above, we will do semantic coding on the site (attaching meta data to images, videos, and other non-text content) to make it easier for search engines to know what your website is about and get better performance. We will also fine tune each webpage’s content to the top performing keywords identified above to maximize the possibility of your site appearing on a viewer’s related search.

3. External SEO:

The more high-profile, relevant, and major websites reference you and your website, the better your SEO and search engine ranking will be. In this phase, we compile a list of key, strategic websites that you may want to reach out to for partnering or establishing a content sharing relationship with so that you both benefit from spreading word about each other’s website. We will also take a look at similar/competitor websites and see where they are referenced from, and provide you with possible partners that would be interested in sharing your content as they already have relevant content from someone else. Finally, we begin a backlink building initiative to get you the most referrals and links from other similar websites.


4. Content SEO/Content Strategy:

Using the keyword lists from step 1, we also provide strategic content ideas for publishing on your website or social media that can, over time, get you greater numbers of page hits and visitors. We will show you related trends and provide an ideal, ongoing content schedule calendar with content ideas that will maximize the number of visitors that will see your site.
